Lagerlof, LLP Partners, Jamie N. Gonzalez and Dena L. Klotz, have been selected as nominees for the 2026 Valley Women’s Leadership Awards, presented by the Los Angeles Business Journal.
The Valley Women’s Leadership Awards recognize outstanding women leaders who are making a meaningful impact across the Greater Valley business community through their leadership, professional achievements, and contributions to their organizations and industries.
The 2026 Valley Women’s Leadership Symposium & Awards will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at the Sheraton Universal Hotel. The event will bring together influential women leaders for a morning symposium, reception, and awards luncheon celebrating professional accomplishments, leadership, and community impact.

Jamie Gonzalez is a Partner at Lagerlof, LLP, focusing her practice on litigation involving probate estates, trusts, guardianships, and conservatorships. Throughout her career, she has guided clients through complex and often emotionally sensitive disputes, earning a reputation for thoughtful advocacy and practical problem-solving.
Beyond her legal practice, Jamie has demonstrated a strong commitment to leadership and service within the legal community. She has served on the Executive Committee of the Trusts and Estates Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the San Fernando Valley Bar Association. She also previously served on the Board of Directors of the Campbell Center in Glendale.
Jamie has received numerous awards throughout her career, including recognition as a Southern California Super Lawyer since 2017 and selection among the Top 50 Women Lawyers in Southern California in 2021 and 2022. She has also been recognized by Pasadena Magazine, Los Angeles Magazine, and The Legal Network for her professional achievements and contributions to the legal profession.
Dena Klotz is a Partner at Lagerlof, LLP’s Encino office, focusing her practice on estate and gift tax planning, estate planning, business succession planning, charitable giving, trusts, wills, powers of attorney, post-death administration, and probate.
As part of Lagerlof, LLP’s Private Client Group, Dena provides comprehensive legal guidance to individuals, families, trust and estate administrators, real property owners, and businesses. She works with clients across all financial stages of life, helping them preserve generational wealth, navigate family governance, protect assets, and plan for the future.
Dena brings a unique blend of legal, analytical, and interpersonal skills to her practice. In addition to her legal experience, she holds a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and previously practiced as a therapist specializing in resolving conflicts with couples and families. This background allows her to help clients navigate complex legal and personal matters with clarity, professionalism, and care.
Dena is an active member of ProVisors and has fostered meaningful professional relationships within the business community. She recently served as a panelist for “The New Era of Leadership” at the 2025 Valley Women’s Leadership Symposium & Awards.
