Pasadena, CA — Lagerlof, LLP concluded its annual Toy Drive this week with a meaningful contribution to the Pasadena Jaycees’ longstanding Operation Santa program. Over the course of two weeks, employees from across the firm came together to fill two large donation bins—totaling multiple bin loads—for children in Pasadena who may not otherwise receive a gift this holiday season. 

Representatives from the Pasadena Jaycees visited Lagerlof’s Pasadena office on Thursday to pick up the donations. A small team of Lagerlof employees, including Chief Operating Officer, Corey Castillo, gathered to bag and load the toys, assist with the pick-up, and thank the Jaycees for their continued work in the community. The Jaycees shared that this year has been one of their largest seasons yet, with nearly 2,000 children writing letters to “Santa” requesting holiday gifts. 

Founded in 1934, the Pasadena Jaycees are a volunteer-led organization of young professionals dedicated to community service, leadership development, and positive impact. Their Operation Santa program—now in its 90th year—ensures that thousands of local children in 8th grade and under receive hand-delivered gifts each holiday season, thanks to donated toys and the efforts of hundreds of volunteers dressed as Santa, Mrs. Claus, and elves.

The Pasadena Jaycees expressed appreciation for the firm’s contributions during a year of extraordinary need. The donated toys will be distributed on Christmas Eve as part of the Jaycees’ citywide volunteer effort.
