Nick focuses his practice exclusively on trust and estate litigation, contested conservatorships, and estate planning. Prior to joining Lagerlof, LLP, as a senior counsel in 2017, Nick worked at the international law firm of McDermott Will and Emery, and Anglin Flewelling Rasmussen Campbell & Trytten LLP (AFRCT), handling a wide variety of estate planning and probate matters.

Nick earned his Juris Doctor from Syracuse University School of Law, where he graduated cum laude and earned a certification in estate planning. After law school, he obtained an LLM in estate planning from the University of Miami’s Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning.

Nick is a member of the Pasadena Bar Association, Probate section, and currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Pasadena Bar Association. He is also a member of The Los Angeles County Bar Association, Probate section, and the California Bar Association, Probate section.  He is admitted to practice law in all California state courts.

In addition to his activities as an attorney, Nick coaches Special Olympics with his wife, Ali. They both also serve as Officials at Special Olympics competitions. Nick serves on the board for multiple nonprofit organizations, and is a past President of the Monrovia Providers Group, an organization serving the aging population of the San Gabriel foothills region.
