Justin is an Associate Attorney in Lagerlof, LLP’s litigation department in the Seattle office. His practice focuses on litigation of real property, banking/lender liability, title curative, and insurance coverage matters. Justin represents a wide array of clients ranging from title companies, commercial banks, non-profits and other businesses.
Prior to joining Lagerlof, LLP, Justin represented insurers in insurance coverage related litigations for breach of contract, bad faith, Consumer Protection Act, and Insurance Fair Conduct Act claims in first- and third-party disputes. The underlying claims Justin litigated involve matters ranging from auto accident, construction defect, pollution, and business interruption due to fire and COVID-19 related shutdowns. In this role, Justin successfully secured favorable summary judgment rulings for the benefit of insurers. A part of Justin’s practice also included tort related insurance defense, breach of contract, landlord-tenant disputes, and Plaintiff side personal injury claims.
Justin received his bachelor’s degree in Finance and Criminal Justice from Washington State University. He then received his Juris Doctor from Pepperdine School of Law. He is licensed to practice in the state and federal courts for the State of Washington.
Outside of work, Justin enjoys weight-lifting, tabletop games, target shooting, foreign language study, and creative writing.
