Rebecca’s practice focuses on probate, conservatorships and guardianships and estate planning. This includes drafting trusts, wills, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, deeds and other estate planning documents, as well as advising clients of their duties and fiduciary responsibilities.

 

Ms. Thyne serves on the probate volunteer panel of the Los Angeles Superior Court, and has represented executors, administrators, trustees, conservators, conservatees, guardians and minors in numerous court proceedings. 

Following her graduation from the University of California at Los Angeles, Ms. Thyne taught elementary school in Princeton, New Jersey, and later founded and operated a clinic for educationally handicapped children in San Marino, California. She received her law degree from Loyola Marymount University.

Ms. Thyne is active in her church, where she has been on the Vestry and served as a junior warden. She also has been on the boards of numerous professional, civic and charitable organizations, including the Wilshire Bar Association, the Pasadena Bar Association, the National Charity League and the Crippled Children’s Society. She has served as President of the Board of Directors of the Pasadena Senior Center, President of the Westminster Gardens Board of Trustees, President of the San Marino Community Church Nursery School Board, and Board Chair for the Episcopal Communities and Services. She is currently serving on the board of the Sophie Miller Foundation.
