Two Lagerlof, LLP Attorneys, Jamie Gonzalez and Dena Klotz, have been nominated for the LABJ: Inside the Valley Women’s Leadership Award.
The honorees will be recognized at the Inside the Valley Women’s Leadership Symposium & Awards event, a day of inspiration, education, and celebration. The event features top businesswomen from across Los Angeles sharing insights on leadership, mentorship, board service, nonprofit engagement, work/life balance, and supporting women in business.

Jamie Gonzalez is a Partner at Lagerlof, LLP focusing on litigation concerning probate estates, trusts, guardianships, and conservatorships.
Jamie has served on the Executive Committee of the Trusts and Estates Section of LACBA for the last three years. She is a member of the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the San Fernando Valley Bar Association. She is also on the Advisory Board for MAPS Charities.
Ms. Gonzalez has been recognized as a SuperLawyer since 2017 and was awarded Top 50 Women Lawyers in Southern California in 2021 and 2022. She has won Pasadena Magazine’s Top Attorney Award from 2015 through 2018, Los Angeles Magazine’s Top Attorneys in Southern California Award in 2018, Los Angeles Magazine’s Top Women Attorneys in Southern California Award in 2017 and 2018, Los Angeles Business Journal’s Top 100 Lawyers in 2024, and a Best Lawyers since 2022.
Dena L. Klotz is Managing Attorney and Senior Counsel with Lagerlof, LLP and is primarily focused on estate planning and trust administration.
Dena received a Bachelor of the Arts degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. She has a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Phillips Graduate University, and practiced as a therapist specializing in resolving conflicts with couples and families. Dena received her J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law. Dena is also licensed as a California real estate broker.
As both an attorney and a Marriage and Family Therapist, Dena brings a useful combination of skills when advising clients. She won the 2024 SIBBIES Impact award. In addition to her law practice, she manages Lagerlof’s Encino office.
