PASADENA, CA – Lagerlof Cares, the charitable arm of Pasadena-based law firm Lagerlof, LLP, hosted a fundraiser benefiting the Pasadena Fire Foundation, raising a combined total of $15,000 in support of the Foundation’s critical work throughout the community through their join efforts. 

Lagerlof Cares held the fundraising event on June 26th in an effort to raise funds for the Pasadena Fire Foundation as they have been on the front lines, supporting the brave firefighters and the communities devastated by recent wildfires. 

“We are incredibly proud to help raise funds in support of the Pasadena Fire Foundation, whose tireless efforts this past year during the wildfires saved lives, protected homes, and brought comfort to communities in crisis,” Lagerlof Cares’ Chairman and Lagerlof, LLP’s Managing Partner, Joshua Driskell, shared. “Their bravery, compassion, and continued dedication to public safety are nothing short of inspiring. We are deeply grateful for the work they’ve done—and the critical work they continue to do every day.” 

All proceeds from the fundraiser will go directly to the Pasadena Fire Foundation and will support vital initiatives, including: 

• Pasadena Outreach Response Team (PORT): A collaborative effort between the City of Pasadena’s Public Health and Fire Departments and Union Station Homeless Services. PORT provides field-based outreach and connects individuals experiencing homelessness to housing, healthcare, and social services. In the aftermath of the Eaton Fire, this work is more important than ever, as displacement and trauma have led to an increased need for support. 

• Leadership Training for the Pasadena Fire Department: As wildfires grow in frequency and intensity, advanced leadership and emergency response training is essential. These programs ensure firefighters can operate safely and effectively in high-risk environments, reducing harm to both people and property. 

Through this fundraiser, Lagerlof Cares reinforces its mission to support those who safeguard and serve our community.
