PASADENA, CA – Two Lagerlof, LLP Partners Vanessa Terzian and Jamie Gonzalez have been recognized as Women of Influence: Attorneys by the Los Angeles Business Journal.

Vanessa Terzian is a Partner at Lagerlof, LLP, specializing in trust administration, estate planning, and probate. She is a sought-after speaker and has led numerous seminars on topics such as kids protection planning, special needs planning, Medi-Cal planning, advanced tax strategies, and asset protection for individuals and small business owners. 

A faculty member at the Institute for Preparing Heirs®, Vanessa is deeply rooted in her local community of La Cañada Flintridge, where she lives with her husband, Edward, and their two sons, Alec and Jack. She serves on the board of directors for the La Cañada Education Foundation and is actively involved in several charitable organizations. Through community engagement, public speaking, and fundraising events, Vanessa has helped raise thousands of dollars for a wide range of causes. She believes that the core values of care, love, and selflessness—essential to a strong family—should also guide community involvement. 

Jamie Gonzalez is a Partner at Lagerlof, LLP, with a practice focused on litigation involving probate estates, trusts, guardianships, and conservatorships. 

Jamie has served on the Executive Committee of the Trusts and Estates Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA) for the past three years. She is an active member of the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles, LACBA, and the San Fernando Valley Bar Association, and serves on the Advisory Board for MAPS Charities. 

Her professional accolades include being named a Super Lawyer since 2017 and receiving numerous honors such as Top 50 Women Lawyers in Southern California (2021, 2022), Pasadena Magazine’s Top Attorney (2015–2018), and Los Angeles Magazine’s Top Attorneys in Southern California (2018) and Top Women Attorneys (2017, 2018). Most recently, she was named to the Los Angeles Business Journal’s Top 100 Lawyers in 2024 and has been recognized by Best Lawyers since 2022.
