Jon has been fortunate to learn his trade from some of the very finest lawyers in the country. He applies that top level of skill, diligence, and understanding to every matter in his office.

Leaving the downtown big firms and boutiques behind, Jon opened his estate planning practice in Pasadena in 2006 to focus on estate planning, trust and probate matters for families and business owners. He is a California State Bar-certified specialist in estate planning, trust and probate law.

As the leader of the elder law practice group, Jon helps seniors design and fulfill their estate planning goals for their families and legacy.  He helps conservators and other court appointed fiduciaries navigate the many legal, financial and family challenges that arise when a senior or disabled individual is unable to manage their affairs.

Jon is a UCLA Law School alum.   He is a former elected trustee of the South Pasadena Unified School District (2015-2020).  Since the 1990s, he has served on various nonprofit boards serving vulnerable populations including persons experiencing homelessness, seniors, and special education students and their families.  Continuing his passion for community service, he currently serves on the city council for the City of South Pasadena.
