Saman is an Associate Attorney in Lagerlof, LLP’s corporate and tax practice. He has experience in the areas of tax, business, accounting, and mergers and acquisitions.

Saman earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin Law School, completing concentrations in business law and real estate law. While in law school, he worked in the Law & Entrepreneurship Clinic where he assisted local small businesses with various legal matters. He also supported the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health with tax research to help establish an investment incubator for the medical school. Saman also volunteered in a local Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Clinic, helping low-income families file their tax returns and reduce their income tax liabilities.

Prior to law school, Saman earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California Santa Barbara, where he studied economics and concentrated in accounting. He also completed a minor in chemistry and earned a certificate in Technology Management from UCSB’s College of Engineering. During his time at UCSB, Saman participated in start-up competitions where he supported Santa Barbara’s students and local community with new ventures. After graduating, Saman worked as a junior accountant for a growing start-up company in Los Angeles.

Saman is licensed to practice law in California and Wisconsin.
