Martin is an Associate Attorney at Lagerlof, LLP focusing on estate planning & corporate and tax matters.
During his legal education, Martin gained practical experience as a law clerk at a boutique corporate law firm in Pasadena and participated in his law school’s corporate in-house clinic, providing legal research for a real estate company. He also expanded his expertise internationally by clerking at the esteemed Chilean firm Barros & Errárzuriz, focusing on corporate law, mergers & acquisitions, banking, finance, and capital markets.
In the United States, Martin furthered his legal insights by externing for the United States Attorney’s Office’s Tax Division and the Executive Office for Immigration Review. He also volunteered with El Centro, UCLA’s student-run legal clinic, where he served as Co-Training Director and contributed to the Immigration Clinic.
Martin holds a Juris Doctor with a specialization in Business Law from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, from the University of Southern California. He further enriched his education by studying abroad in Chile and Spain.
Outside of his legal endeavors, Martin enjoys genealogy research and traveling the world.
