Marc Schwartz


Marc is Of Counsel at Lagerlof, LLP focusing his practice on estate planning. He takes pride in guiding his clients through the often confusing maze of financial and legal decisions to ensure the wellbeing of their families and the accomplishment of cherished family goals and legacy. His considerable legal expertise includes family protection, wealth preservation and values-based planning as well as strategies for small businesses and real estate owners.


Graduating magna cum laude from Pepperdine School of Law in 1996, Marc received the American Jurisprudence Awards in Real Estate Transactions, Legal Research and Writing, as well as Constitutional Law.  Marc previously served as general counsel of a prominent real estate investment company that raised funds from high net worth families and large institutions in order to purchase residential, retail and industrial properties nationwide.


Marc is a frequent lecturer throughout Southern California on a variety of topics, including family wealth planning, wealth preservation and asset protection of inheritances.  Marc also writes frequently, and received Los Angeles Daily News Readers Choice award for “Best Attorney” and “Best Living Trust” for many years.


Designated as a Personal Family Attorney by the Family Wealth Planning Institute, Marc enjoys educating his community. He has chosen to concentrate his practice on Trusts and Estates because he is passionate about helping families create happy and secure futures.
