Only 5% of attorneys are selected as Super Lawyers and only 2.5% are selected as Rising Stars. Rising Stars are attorneys that are 40 or younger, or have been practicing for 10 years or less.
Super Lawyers is a Thomson Reuters company that rates and recognizes attorneys from more than 20 practice areas. Each attorney that is recognized has gone through a multiphase selection process. This selection process includes peer nomination, independent research that evaluates 12 indicators of professional achievement and peer recognition, and peer evaluation where candidates are evaluated by Blue Ribbon Panel Members within their primary practice area. Attorneys who receive the top scores are recognized as Super Lawyers, making them the best at what they do.
