Pasadena, CA — Lagerlof, LLP Partner, Thomas Bunn, has been recognized in the Chambers and Partners USA 2026 Guide for his distinguished work in Water Law, a prestigious honor that highlights the nation’s leading attorneys and law firms based on extensive independent research and client feedback.

The Chambers and Partners USA rankings are widely regarded as one of the legal profession’s most respected benchmarks of excellence. Attorneys recognized by Chambers are evaluated on technical legal ability, professional conduct, client service, commercial awareness, diligence, and commitment to achieving outstanding results for their clients.

Thomas Bunn’s recognition reflects his decades of experience advising public agencies, municipalities, water districts, and private entities on complex water rights and water transfers, compliance with Propositions 218 and 26, and matters involving the Brown Act, Public Records Act, and Political Reform Act. Throughout his career, he has played a significant role in helping clients navigate California’s evolving water landscape and address some of the state’s most critical water-related challenges.

“This recognition is a testament to Tom’s exceptional legal expertise, unwavering dedication to his clients, and longstanding leadership in California water law,” Joshua Driskell, Managing Partner of Lagerlof, LLP, stated. “Tom has built a reputation as a trusted advisor on highly complex water issues, and we are proud to see his work recognized by Chambers and Partners. His achievement reflects not only his individual excellence but also Lagerlof’s continued commitment to providing sophisticated counsel on matters that are vital to our communities and clients throughout California.”

Bunn represents water producers in litigation, including numerous groundwater basin adjudications, and has participated in the negotiation and implementation of physical solutions and other groundwater management plans. He has substantial experience in complex negotiations with multiple issues or multiple parties. In those negotiations, he has developed a reputation for good judgment and integrity. As a result, he has been able to lead warring parties to a mutually acceptable resolution.
