Lagerlof, LLP’s Managing Partner Joshua Driskell and Partner Vanessa Terzian have been named to the Daily Journal’s 2026 list of Top Estate & Wealth Management Lawyers. 

Josh and Vanessa will be featured among this year’s honorees in the Daily Journal’s special Top Estate & Wealth Management Lawyers issue, publishing September 9, 2026.

Josh serves as Managing Partner of Lagerlof, LLP and Chair of the firm’s Private Client Services Department. His practice focuses on estate planning, wealth transfer planning, business succession planning, post-death administration, and fiduciary litigation. He works extensively with high-net-worth individuals, business owners, real estate investors, family offices, private equity fund managers, and entertainment industry professionals.  

A frequent speaker on estate planning and tax-related topics, Josh has also earned recognition from a number of legal and business publications throughout his career. As Managing Partner, he plays an integral role in Lagerlof’s continued growth and long-term strategic direction.  

Vanessa is a Partner at Lagerlof, LLP whose practice includes estate and tax planning, probate, and trust administration. Drawing on her early career experience as a trust officer at Wells Fargo, she brings a practical understanding of the financial and personal considerations involved in creating comprehensive estate plans for individuals and families.  

Vanessa is also an adjunct professor of Wills and Trusts at Southwestern Law School and a frequent speaker on estate-planning topics, including special needs planning, Medi-Cal planning, advanced tax planning, and asset protection. She is also a faculty member at the Institute for Preparing Heirs®.
