Grant Keary

Grant Keary is a Partner at Lagerlof, LLP, focusing his practice on matters including corporate, business, healthcare, real estate, commercial, and creditors’ rights matters.

In addition, Grant also represents financial institutions and other lenders in lending and creditors’ rights, corporate, regulatory, commercial, and operational matters. He also represents clients in mergers and acquisition transactions, purchases and sales of real estate and businesses, including asset and stock sales; healthcare law; real estate lending, financing, and leasing transactions; corporate finance; and loan workouts.

Grant’s healthcare practice includes representation of a wide variety of healthcare clients, including emergency medical services providers, staffing companies, physician groups and organizations, and professional associations. He represents these clients in a wide range of transactional and regulatory matters, including reimbursement, managed care, fraud and abuse/compliance, HIPAA and other privacy laws, telemedicine, and general business transactions.

After working his way through college and law school with Sterling Software from 1979 through 1987, Grant began his practice in 1987 with the firm of Urland, Morello, Dunn & Maynard, where he practiced primarily in the business, real estate, and corporate areas from 1987 until 1991. In 1991, he joined Voss, Cook & Thel, where he worked until the formation of Lee & Keary on March 1, 1994, and practiced there until joining Lagerlof.

Grant is a Member of the American Health Lawyers Association (the nation’s largest, nonpartisan, educational organization devoted to legal issues in the health care field), and the California Society for Healthcare Attorneys, the association of California healthcare attorneys involved in all aspects of the healthcare industry, including hospitals, physicians and medical groups.
