Two Lagerlof, LLP Attorneys, Vanessa Terzian and Amanda Bunn, have been nominated for the Los Angeles Business Journal: Women’s Leadership Award. 

The 2026 Women’s Leadership Symposium and Awards will be held on June 9, 2026, at the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown. The annual event brings together influential women leaders from across industries to share insights, celebrate accomplishments, and recognize outstanding professional achievements.

Vanessa Terzian is a Partner at Lagerlof, LLP, where she focuses her practice on estate planning, trust administration, and probate. A seasoned estate planning attorney and adjunct professor of Wills and Trusts at Southwestern Law School, Vanessa combines deep legal knowledge with a thoughtful understanding of family dynamics. She began her career as a trust officer at Wells Fargo, N.A. before founding her own practice, allowing her to better serve growing families with strategic and personalized planning solutions. 

Vanessa has been consistently recognized for her professional excellence, earning honors from Super Lawyers®, Pasadena Magazine, and Avvo. She is admitted to the State Bar of California and earned her undergraduate degree magna cum laude from UC San Diego before receiving her J.D. from Loyola Law School, where she was awarded a Dean’s Full Tuition Academic Scholarship. She also serves as a trustee for the La Cañada Educational Foundation Endowment, an advisory board member for the Pasadena Community Foundation, and is on the faculty of the Institute for Preparing Heirs. 

Amanda Bunn is an Associate Attorney at Lagerlof, LLP, practicing in the areas of estate planning, tax, and trust administration. She works closely with clients on a wide range of estate planning matters, from foundational planning documents to sophisticated gifting strategies and tax planning solutions. Amanda also prepares estate and gift tax returns, helping clients navigate complex compliance requirements and long-term wealth transfer goals. 

As a mother, Amanda brings a personal understanding to the importance of planning for family and the future. She connects deeply with clients who want to ensure their children are financially protected and their wishes are clearly documented. Her practical and empathetic approach helps families make sensitive decisions with clarity and peace of mind.
