PASADENA, Calif. — Lagerlof, LLP proudly announced a $20,000 donation to Villa Esperanza Services following the firm’s 5th Annual Charity Golf Tournament & Wine Tasting Fundraiser, held on November 14, 2025, at Brookside Golf Club. Each year, the event raises funds for a local nonprofit, underscoring the firm’s commitment to strengthening the Pasadena community and supporting organizations creating a local and meaningful impact.

More than 100 golfers joined this year’s tournament, along with guests who participated in raffles, a silent auction, and a special sommelier-led wine tasting experience by Argaux Wines. The event also featured lively on-course competitions and opportunities for attendees to connect with one another throughout the day.

The tournament concluded with a celebratory dinner where representatives from Villa Esperanza Services shared a moving video and spoke about their organization’s impact. Founded 64 years ago, Villa Esperanza Services provides transformative programs and services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including school-age programs, adult day and residential services, and over 6,700 hours of annual therapy. 

“Our annual golf tournament is one of Lagerlof, LLP’s most cherished traditions because it allows us to come together in support of organizations that are truly changing lives,” said Managing Partner, Josh Driskell. “Villa Esperanza Services embodies compassion, dignity, and opportunity for individuals with I/DD and their families. We are honored to contribute to their mission!” 

During the firm’s Holiday Party, two Villa Esperanza representatives, Michelle Cox and Gioia Pastre, joined Lagerlof, LLP to receive the donation check and celebrate the success of this year’s event. “Thank you for welcoming us so warmly and for your tremendous generosity,” Michelle shared. “This contribution will directly support the programs that help our students and adults thrive every day.” Gioia added, “It was inspiring to see the passion and community spirit behind this tournament. We are grateful for Lagerlof, LLP’s partnership and the meaningful impact this donation will make for the individuals we serve.”
