Lisa Peterson

Lisa is Senior Counsel at Lagerlof, LLP focusing on estate planning, trust administration, probate, conservatorships and guardianships.

 

Lisa arrived at the practice of law as a third career after years of working in environmental and medical labs as well as teaching English in a Medical University in mainland China for two years.  She retired her chemistry degree and received a juris doctor degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles in 2006.

Since that time her practice has focused entirely on estate planning, trust administration, probate, conservatorships and guardianships. This includes counseling of estate planning clients and preparing trusts, wills, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, deeds and other necessary estate planning documents, as well assisting families with other needs such as post-death administration of trusts or estates.

 

Before joining Lagelof, LLP, Lisa was a partner with Hart, Mieras & Morris, Inc., and was an attorney with Musick, Peeler & Garrett LLP, and Moore & Associates.

 

She is a member of the California State Bar, and the Los Angeles County Bar Association, Trusts and Estate Section and is a California State Bar Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law.

 

Lisa lives with her musician husband, Jim, and a rescued Jack Russell terrier, loves reading history, playing Pente, and ballroom dancing when the opportunity presents itself.
