Steve specializes in litigation bringing 20 years of experience serving clients. He focuses his practice on a variety of areas of litigation, including general civil litigation, business litigation, trusts and estates litigation, and conservatorships.
Prior to joining Lagerlof, LLP (previously, Primuth, Driskell & Terzian, LLP), Steve operated his own practice focused on civil litigation and criminal defense work. He was previously a partner with the international law firm Hunton & Williams in their Los Angeles office, and prior to that, at the litigation and trial boutique firm of O’Donnell & Mortimer, where he handled a variety of complex civil litigation matters. Steve also worked for several small public interest firms early in his career representing plaintiffs in employment discrimination matters, consumer rights actions, and government abuse cases.
Steve earned his Juris Doctor from the New York University School of Law, where he was an editor and board member on the Journal of Law and Social Change. He earned his undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Chicago.
Steve is admitted to practice law in all California state courts and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
In his spare time, Steve enjoys spending time with his wife, visiting national parks, coaching his children’s soccer teams, and serving with his church.
