Elsa Sham specializes in representing individuals, businesses, and municipalities, on diverse issues, including contracts, employment & labor, business litigation, public agency, estate planning, and water rights.
Ms. Sham obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science at the University of California, Irvine. She obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Chapman University School of Law, graduating in the top 20% of her class.
While in law school, Ms. Sham served as a judicial extern for the Honorable John E. Ryan of the United States Bankruptcy Court and the Honorable James J. DiCesare of the Santa Ana Superior Court of California, Central. During this time, Ms. Sham was a Dean’s Law Scholarship recipient all through law school as well as an Orange County Asian American Bar Association Scholarship recipient. She received the highest-grade point average in the Environmental, Land Use and Real Estate Law Emphasis program and four CALI awards. In addition, Ms. Sham was a Contributing Editor for the Nexus Journal of Opinion and Co-President of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association.
Ms. Sham is admitted to practice law before the United States District Court, Central District of California and all California State courts.
