Lagerlof, LLP brought in Collaborative Confidence, a virtual workshop created to cultivate a collaborative approach to women’s leadership development, in support of their women leaders to continue to foster their development and success.

The Collaborative Confidence workshop was put together and facilitated by Dr. Heather Backstrom, an executive coach with more than 20 years of experience. The program is designed to provide women leaders with strategies to boost their voice, strengths, and contributions at work. The program focuses on three pillars: activate, amplify, and accelerate. These pillars are the foundation to strengthen confidence, encourage women to speak up often, take risks, and encourage and amplify other women in their successes.

During the workshop attendees were provided with a personalized feedback assessment, insights and exercises to learn to use thoughts, emotions and physical triggers as confidence building tools, how to discover and quiet their inner critic, how to amplify their inner champion, explore strategies on how to amplify other women, and action planning.

“Heather’s workshop was fantastic!” Associate Attorney and Collaborative Confidence attendee, Lindsay Francis, shared. “I use some of the skills she taught me in my daily life and also make it a point now to specifically point out what another woman has accomplished in my weekly meetings.”

This program was offered to women at Lagerlof as a part of Lagerlof’s commitment to developing team members as mindful and inclusive leaders.
